i'm not going home to boston for xmas. i would have, but it was hella expensive, and i just don't feel safe travelling during the holidays. especially with all the security hassles.

i did make it home last week (see previous post about the wonders of air travel) and had a nice dinner with my family. i got to spend some time with my brother devin, which as good, except for a slight driving mishap of him getting arrested for driving on a suspended license.

i got to see old friends, steve and christian, and had a good time. got to see the new xbox, with alot of the new grafically intensive games for it. got to spend some time tromping around the towns in which i grew up.

back to xmas, i'm avoiding buying presents this year for anyone, rather making something that comes from the heart for everyone. the benefit of this is that i get to avoid the malls which are thier usual xmas mess. the downside is that i have to put some time into making the present for people, and i can't seem to get hte motovation to getting around to it, which is bad considering that xmas is a few days away. i hope the personal nature of the presents will make up for the fact that they're going to be a little bit late.

but, at least i get to avoid the malls.
